Seal or Mark (Your Choice)
A seal has three components:
The seal of God can be found in the Ten Commandments in the Sabbath commandment.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
- Exodus 20:8-11 (KJV)
So: "The Lord, made, heaven and earth".
|The Lord thy God
|Heaven and Earth
The Sabbath commandment contains the seal of God, to the point where they are used interchangeably.
The seal here is used to reveal the authority of the law-giver, e.g. it tells us that the law came from God. In other words, by keeping the Sabbath we acknowledge that God is our authority, and that it is God who we obey.
Satan has a seal like that, except it's called the mark of the beast (sign, seal, and mark are all synonymous). This seal is not found in the Bible, but it can be deduced from studying the commandments of men.
In other words, by keeping Sunday we akcnowledge that satan is our authority.
I hope you see where this is going...
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
- Romans 6:16 (KJV)
The one you obey becomes your master!!
And that's the decision we have to make today.
There will be only two classes: those who obey God, and those that do not.
Who is your authority?
Who do you obey?
Will you obey a loving, kind, and gentle God who died for you on a cross?
Or, will you obey the one that will lead you to death?
That is the decision we all have to make, and once we have decided, we will be either sealed or marked in the forehead as a sign of ownership.
No one has received the mark of the beast just yet, but when the Sunday law is passed, this will become the test of the last days.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
- Revelation 3:10 (KJV)
