The Love of the Truth
The threshold for entering God's Kingdom is high.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

If you do not have a love for the truth, you will not find the way to life.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Some people will never understand the Bible, because they don't have a love for the truth.
The Pharisees did not understand Jesus' parables, because they didn't have a love for the truth.
If you want eternal life, you will have to work for it.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
