Overcoming Temptation
Temptations are common to man.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

When I'm tempted in some way, I immediately fall back on prayer, recognizing that my own strength isn't enough.

The one who is in you is greater than the one in the world, e.g. the victory is already yours.

Declare the victory over your temptation today, and pray to God the instant it comes up.
God is faithful, and sooner or later you will overcome it.
