How to Deal With Fear in the Last Days

The last days are no picnic. It is humanity at its worst.

The Bible is filled with verses like:

  • Fear not
  • Do not be afraid
  • Let not your heart be troubled
  • Etc

Some say there is one such verse for every day of the year.

Here are some more verses to consider:

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
- Matthew 6:34 (KJV)

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

I think the idea is to walk with God now (not tomorrow, not later, but now).

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
- James 4:8 (KJV)

The idea is to understand fully that God loves you, and that He will never let go of you.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Romans 8:35 (KJV)

Sure, our lives may be required.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
- Hebrews 9:27 (KJV)

But then the next conscious moment is when you see Jesus on the clouds.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV)

Surrender daily to God's will, and you will have nothing to fear.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- 1 John 4:18 (KJV)

God is our Father, and He is in control.
