God in us, we in God

It was God who loved us first.

We love him, because he first loved us.
- 1 John 4:19 (KJV)

How do we love God?

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- John 14:15 (KJV)

This loving relationship between God and us, intertwines us, e.g. God in us, we in God.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- 1 John 4:16 (KJV)

Similar to how Adam and Eve are "one flesh", so are we "one in spirit" with God.

But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
- 1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)

Jesus Himself describes Himself as the vine.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- John 15:5 (KJV)

We are completely intertwined when we love one another.

Without God, who is Love, our hearts grow cold, and we can bear no fruit.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
- John 15:6 (KJV)

A branch can't live by itself.

Let God be in charge of your life (obey His Commandments which are good for all), and He will give you anything.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- John 15:7 (KJV)
