A Lesson for Eternity

Things are getting ugly. God is withdrawing His Spirit, and immorality is increasing.

And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
- Genesis 6:3 (KJV)

You may be wondering "How bad is this going to get?".

I strongly believe that God will let this thing run its course, so that the true nature of sin will be fully exposed.

What is happening on planet Earth will be a lesson for eternity, and will never happen again.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
- Matthew 24:21 (KJV)

Should sin surface again, God will simply say "Remember what happened on Earth?", and stop it right there and then.

Right now God is on trial, because satan has said "This world would be better of without the Ten Commandments", and God is literally showing us how wrong satan really is.

God will let this run its course, and is asking us to be patient.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
- Revelation 14:12 (KJV)

God will deliver you, but we need to do our part in this.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
- Daniel 12:1 (KJV)

Make no mistake. It greatly hurts God to sustain the universe in its present condition, but it has to be done, so that all will understand the necessity for a world where there is no sin.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

So the next time you think "Why is God letting all these bad things happen?" I hope you will see the bigger picture, and "understand" what's going on...

Trust God, for He is in control.
